Competition Rules

Competition format

  • Qualification round : 60 arrows at 18 meters (2x18m) on a vertical tri-spot Ø40 cm target face, with shooting cadence : AB/CD, ends of 3 arrows.
  • A shoot-off will be organized, in case of a tied score after the qualification round, to decide the ranking position.
  • Elimination round : will begin at the 1/16 elimination round phase through to the gold final. Losing semifinalists will compete in a bronze medal match.
  • All recurve individual matches will use the sets system (3 arrows per set).
  • All compound individual matches will use the cumulative score system (15 arrows).
  • Alternated shooting – 20 sec. per arrow – will be used to shoot during the finals, on a vertical tri-spot Ø40 cm target face.

- The tournament will be OPEN for all archers all over the world in the following categories:

  • Seniors  (Recurve Women, Recurve Men, Compound Women, Compound Men)
  • Juniors (Recurve Junior Women, Recurve Junior Men, Compound Junior Women, Compound Junior Men) for those born on or after 1st January, 1997.

- This Indoor archery tournament will follow the provision set in the WA Constitution and Rules, except for any specification mentioned in these rules.

- In case of misunderstanding due to translation of these rules, the English will prevail.World Archery and the organizers reserve the right to change them at any time.
